Thirty-Eight Years Young

Happy 38th Birthday Daddy!!!!

Matt turned 38 years old on November 7, 2013.  We celebrated by enjoying a nice relaxing night as a little family.  Gifts, dinner at the family favorite- Olive Garden,  and an awesome movie night at home watching "White House Down."  Matt LOVES movies and super duper loud so for his birthday we surprised him with a surround sound system being installed the day before his birthday!  Back in his bachelor days he had his awesome big computer, gaming systems, surround sound etc. all to himself and could enjoy his hobbies of electronics.  Now that he's a married family man those toys of the past have gone by the wayside.  Money spent on lots of movies and the latest electronics has instead been spent on boring things like bills and groceries.  So it was an awesome surprise to splurge and give Matt this gift he's wanted ever since we bought this home.  Congrats Matt!  You've got your loud speakers now!!!!!  He is a very happy Birthday Boy.

Elsie would not stop goofing around for the traditional posed family picture on a family member's birthday, thus her goofy laughing face.

 

Apparently only in a public restaurant was she willing to give me a nice normal smile.

 

I haven't the slightest idea who Elsie gets her silliness from.....
