Elsie Jewel all grown up.....she's 12 now!!!!

Elsie turned 12 on December 28th, 2013.  My "Little One" is now officially in Young Women's and a "Beehive" in her church class.  She graduated from Primary.  Received her Faith in God award and recited her favorite article of Faith in Sacrament meeting (#8) along with her testimony.  I am so darn proud of her.

While in St. George, Utah over the Christmas break we all went to the St. George Temple so Elsie could do Baptisms on behalf of those who have died and not yet received the gospel for her very first time.  Now, both of my kiddos have temple recommends and can visit the House of the Lord.  Pretty special.

Elsie has really been wanting contacts so that she can see on the field when she plays soccer.  We only agreed to let her get some if she would pay for them.  Since she's still young I hoped that by buying them herself this would encourage her to take good care of them.  She loves them!

Although Els is growing into a beautiful Young Woman, she's still my rough and tumble Elsie.  Loves being outside and riding her new unicycle.  Hanging out with her friends, shooting her air soft gun, playing tag and lava in the back yard, practicing her saxophone, watching "Castle" with Mama, babysitting on a weekly basis, being mischievous and wonderful all at the same time, making us laugh and still willing to sit on my lap and say, "Hold Me," pretending she's a little baby so her friends will laugh, playing video games, and being a super awesome student and amazing help at home.  We love you Els!
