Elsie came up with a brilliant plan one night we actually got the kids to cooperate and have scripture study. After talking about Samuel from the Old Testament for a few nights Elsie came out dressed up as this:
Samuel the Prophet!
Ren wanted to try it too. He was much more ferocious.
And ta, da! Els came out last as "Samuel the Prophet's Wife!". She had high heels, fancy hat, high pitched southern accent and scriptures. Of course! Isn't this all how we picture Samuel's wife we know nothing about?
My funny, cute kids. There wasn't much scripture "studying" per say that evening. Lots of goofing off, acting, and playing. Less studying exactly. But hey it's a scripture night we won't likely forget soon!
