Wrist Guard Malfunction

When one wears protective gear while rollerblading, one thinks it would be sufficient enough to PROTECT.  However, Elsie defied these odds.  Case in point:
She had a smidget of a collision with her very careful brother while she was upon said rollerblades.  The wrist guard on her left arm completely malfunctioned.  She came home after falling down with a broken wrist.  How rude "Wrist Guard Company!"

A few days later a fabulous WATER PROOF CAST was placed upon said wrist to protect it from the woes of the world and keep it safe and sound while it healed from such misfortune.  Elsie's divine light blue cast was on for 5 VERY LONG weeks (according to Elsie) then came off 3 days after school started.  We like to keep things exciting around here.  And inform the American Marketplace when it has faulty manufacturing in protective gear.

The broken wrist survived 5 weeks of healing time with a very active Elsie
from July 27 through Sept. 1, 2011.
  But as a precaution:

Dear Wrist Breaking Fairy:
Both of my children have now experienced a broken wrist.  Thank you for not making it their writing hand, however this is still not an appropriate action on your part nor a wonderful career for you. Please take your business elsewhere and never return.
Warmest Regards,
Elsie and Lorenzo's Mom

(She is not welcome again.)
