Matt's Dad, Mike is so graciously gifting us a new backyard patio. We are finally getting rid of our old creaky deck which wasn't conducive to holding a patio table due to it's skinny long length. It extended the length of the back of the house but wasn't deep enough to hold much. We've wanted to get rid of it for years! Now Mike is making that possible. He hired his brother, Uncle Barry and Matt's cousin Nick to tackle the job. Thank you so much Morrow Men!

When the guys get some time off they will come and pour the concrete to finish our beautiful patio! Matt, Lorenzo, Elsie and I had to put all the sod back where the deck used to be. Did you know laying sod is SUPER HARD? We were exhausted! It's so HEAVY! We're currently doing our best to keep the grass watered. We've had sprinkler trauma in the mean time. A sprinkler pipe under the new patio broke thus we had to dig up a big hole to fix it. Thank you Matt and Grandpa Mike! The front sprinklers are still not in perfect working order but we're trying. Funny how home improvement projects always lead to more problems and more projects and more projects and more problems, you get the point. We are very anxious and excited to enjoy our new patio soon!
Now to find the money to paint the house,
get new patio furniture...
and on and on,
Hee, hee, hee.
