We attempted to grow a garden this year for the first time ever. Els and I dug up the grass and raked the dirt. The kids help plant the plants and seedlings. We watered and weeded and hoped and prayed. The prophet said to plant a garden...he didn't say how fruitful it would be. :). So on blind obedience and with quite a few lessons learned. We did it. Garden year #1, June 2009. Amazingly enough the garden survived and we got to eat some of it! DELICIOUS!!! Lessons learned. Hopefully next year we can try again and get more success....
So, we didn't plant enough rows of corn for them all to get pollinated. But we were just excited thew grew at all!

I LOVE tomatoes! Never thought a tomato could taste this good. WOW! How can I go back to store produce????
