If you were an ID badge, where would you be?

Ren entered 6th grade this year.  All students are required to have an ID badge on, all the time, every day.  At the Parent Info meeting for Lorenzo this fall, we learned that he would only get 3 chances to forget his ID badge.  After 3 times of a temporary pass he'd be charged $5.00.  As many may know, Ren has a bit of a "forget where I put it, what I'm doing" tendency.  Matt and I were hoping we could just make a thousand ID badges up front.  Maybe sew one into every shirt.  Microchip implant instead.  Tattoo to the forehead?  Surprisingly enough Ren has only forgotten his ID badge once so far.  Guess where he left it?

 

On the ladder next to the trampoline of course!  Duh!  He was just setting it there for a minute while he did a few tricks on the trampoline.... What?  It was just a minute. :)  Gotta love that boy.  Don't worry Ren, you get 2 more chances before we start making you sell your toys or own platelets to cover the cost of misplaced ID badges. Hee, hee.
