We LOVE sugar cookies in Morrow Land. So as a neighbor gift this year we made 108 sugar cookies to pass out to neighbors and friends. Lots of hard work....we still hadn't frosted them yet in these pictures. In fact I've made 2 other batches since we delivered these at the beginning of the month so we could enjoy some delicious shapes and lots of frosting for ourselves. Yummy!
Here's Lorenzo and his mad baking skills. He loves rolling out the dough making it perfectly smooth. He's super talented in making things perfect! Slightly annoying at times....but it always turns out awesome.
While Ren and I were tearing it up in Cookie Land, Elsie was at a birthday party making cakes and decorating with fondant. This amazing birthday party make Els and I realize we needed to really step up our game in birthday party land. But as Els concluded, we're too lazy to do that much work. Hee, hee. She came home with a homemade apron, individual cake with fondant, and had tried a whole bunch of mini cakes of all different fillings and flavors. We are not that fancy. But the cake was beautiful! Kudos to the Mom's who can pull off birthday parties like that!!!
She is now determined to make her own fondant and decorate a cake like a pro. No doubt she'll do it too!
Hope you're all enjoying a "Sweet and Delicious"
Christmas Season!
